Preventing Jet Lag

Sleeping through the day isn’t how many travelers envision spending their holiday. When traveling overseas, it can take several days for your internal clock to reset. Fight travel fatigue with these tips:
- Hydrate. Drink at least 1 litre of water every 5 hours during your flight.
- Use a nasal hydration spray, it helps prevent cold and flu symptoms and sore throats caused as a result of recycled air inside the aircraft.
- Avoid coffee and alcohol during your flight. Both can further negatively affect your sleeping patterns, and alcohol is a diuretic.
- Spend time outside on arrival. Sunlight helps reset your body clock.
